A Computer in the Art Room: the origins of British computer arts 1950-80 by Catherine Mason

This book documents the early days of digital exploration by artists. This interests me, because I am very interested in where print concedes the role of dispersal to digital media.
The book can be bought from Catherine Mason's website.

Squaredance - a print performance
For starters here is one of my pieces......
‘Squaredance’ 2009 – Assemblage: wood with moving parts, paper & ink, accessories and printed paper.
A multi faceted piece comprising of different elements: ‘First matter’, the ideographic square and circle.
A printing device that never replicates exactly.
A performance that like the matrix (mother) manifests the fecundity of print and digital dispersal processes. The performative nature of the virtual image and the real image is compared and explored.

Inizia qui
I'm trying to get to grips with this blog software provided by google so please be patient.... I would like to collect together here some projects, pieces, photos & videos that take printmaking outside the confines of editions and the 'print' as a commodity. I would welcome contributions both visual and textual.
I have found some interesting footage on Youtube by various artists, see "playlist" alter printmaking on my YouTube channel......
